Recording is autonomous thanks to a built-in real-time operating system and digital signal processor, eliminating the need for a constant connection to a personal computer.

Data storage is provided by a hybrid memory system, including a 500 GB hard drive and 1024 MB flash memory. A flash buffer is used for intermediate data recording before saving it to the hard drive, improving storage reliability and extending the drive's lifespan.

Connection to the local network is via a 10/100 Ethernet interface, enabling remote access to the audio recording archive. Administrators and operators can search, listen to, and manage recordings using specialized software or network access protocols.
