Wilden 15-3210-55-225 sliding seal ring

The Wilden 15-3210-55-225 Glyd-Ring® is a sliding seal ring used in the center block of air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pumps.

Description and Specifications

Purpose: This dynamic seal provides a tight seal around the center shaft inside the Wilden pump air valve or center block. It is critical to preventing internal air leakage and maintaining the efficiency of the pneumatic system.

Material: Made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene, Teflon®). This material is selected for its excellent chemical resistance, low coefficient of friction, and ability to operate over a wide temperature range, making it compatible with most corrosive environments.

Dimensions: The ring has nominal dimensions of approximately 0.995 x 0.132 inches.

Pump Compatibility

Pump Sizes: Designed for use in Wilden pumps with inlet/outlet sizes from 2" to 3" (51 mm to 76 mm).

Pump Series: Suitable for use in a variety of pump series, including Pro-Flo® V (PV15), Pro-Flo® Shift (PS15), Pro-Flo® X (PX15), Turbo-Flo, and High Pressure series.

Construction: Suitable for use in both bolted and clamped metal pump designs.

Features

Unlike conventional O-rings, Glyd-Ring® seals feature a special profile that provides a reliable seal during shaft reciprocation, minimizing wear and friction. When servicing the pump, it is recommended to replace these rings as a set to ensure optimal performance.
