Wilden 15-3884-99 (switching valve assembly)

Wilden part 15-3884-99 (Spool Assembly) is a pilot sleeve/valve assembly, which is the "intelligence center" of the pneumatic air distribution system (ADS) in Wilden high-power pumps.

Operating Principle:

This unit functions as a switch for the main air valve. When the shaft with the diaphragms reaches the end of its stroke, the internal piston activates the pilot spool (15-3884-99). This, in turn, redirects the air flow to the large end of the main spool (which we discussed earlier, for example, in the PV15), causing it to shift and change the direction of the diaphragms.

Pre-assembled design: Supplied as a ready-to-install cartridge, simplifying maintenance and eliminating errors in selecting individual seals.

Repairability: If the pilot spool rings wear out, it is recommended to replace the entire 15-3884-99 assembly to restore factory performance specifications.
